Not food poisoning

Well last night was interesting. We went for thai food at this pub owned by a British guy. It was their special thai night, and sometimes they do fusion stuff like tom yum goon angel hair pasta, or thai tuna lasana. Really amazing food. Had nachos with sauteed shrimp and cheese, REALLY amazing. For my main I had a yellow curry that was so packed with flavour. Better than most thai places in Toronto.

BUT the mix of all these new spices didn't agree with me. At around 11:00, I wasn't feeling well at all, and spent the night running to the bathroom, calling my mom and Michael, and trying to sleep/puke/drink water. Awful night. After finally falling asleep at 3 A.M., I went to bed. Was woken up by the craziest thunderstorm, and have been trying to recover by eating crackers and peanut butter and trying to rehydrate. Not a fun night at all, but I'm going to take it easy today. I kind of expected this would happen at some point.

We saw the campus yesterday. Its gorgeous, there are a bunch of koi ponds and the buildings are all really cool. But its so confusing, and everything is uphill. We got completely lost trying to find the law building, but hopefully we'll get our bearings by next week.

Spent the morning trying to figure out my class schedule, and tonight we're going to the Michelin star rated dim sum place, called Tim Ho Wan: http://www.timhowan.com/. Its supposed to be the best BBQ pork buns ever. I hope I'm up for them, because I'm still feeling a little gross from last night.

More later!

Pizza we had the other night. Super great, with a cracked egg on top.

Lobster flavoured puffs. Unreal, actually tastes like lobster.

My stylish roommate's bed

Thai shrimp nachos

Yellow curry that destroyed my stomach, even though it went down great!
